Applying to the BSN program for Spring 2024
We are excited for your interest in our program and look forward to admitting yet another competitive class of future nursing students for spring 2024. Below you will reserve an application meeting date, however that registration is not actually for an in-person session. Please register for the next available session. Immediately after you reserve an application meeting date below you will receive an email with all of our virtual application meeting information so you may begin applying to the School of Nursing. Please review the steps below carefully and reach out to your advisor if you have any questions.
BSN Application Timeline & Steps
Register for a Virtual BSN Application Information Session below between July 24th and September 3rd.
You will then receive a link via email to the presentation and online application.
Watch & review the presentation carefully.
Submit your application online and email all supporting documents to the UAB School of Nursing by the application due date. All applications are due by September 1st at 5:00pm.

Current UAB Students: Register to attend a Virtual Nursing Application Information Session by selecting a date and time below. Please select the next available session. You will receive the presentation, via email, that details everything you will need to know about applying to the UAB School of Nursing. In addition, you will receive the link to the online application. You must register for one of these sessions to apply to the School of Nursing. If you would like to meet with your academic advisor at anytime during this process please schedule a phone appointment with them. You can review your BSN Nursing prerequisite course progress, as well as check your overall and foundation GPAs, by using the GPS program at anytime. You can access this program by clicking the GPS logo on the right side of your BlazerNet homepage.
Transfer Students: The start of your process begins with applying to UAB. Please apply as soon as possible and submit all official transcripts for all previous coursework. You can review our BSN Nursing prerequisite course requirements and find academic advisor contact information by clicking here. If you have questions about your previous coursework transferring into UAB you may access our Transfer Equivalency Database by clicking here. Next, register to attend a Virtual Nursing Application Information Session by selecting a date and time below. Please select the next available session. You will receive the presentation, via email, that details everything you will need to know about applying to the UAB School of Nursing. In addition, you will receive the link to the online application. You must register for an information session below in order to apply to the School of Nursing. If you would like to meet with your academic advisor at anytime during this process please schedule a phone appointment with them by clicking on the MyAppointment button on the right side of your Blazernet homepage.
All BSN Information Sessions are virtual via email. Please do not come to the UAB campus. Please check your email for all application information once you register for a session below.
